Fears

Alphabetical list of Fears/Phobias

A fear/phobia is usually defined as ‘an extreme or irrational fear of, or aversion to, something. Virtually anything and everything can become a fear/phobia.

The names for theses fears/phobias are often formed by taking a Greek prefix that represents the fear/phobia and simply adding the “phobia” suffix.

Listing every fear/phobia that exists is just not possible. There are thousands, if not millions, of differing types. I have compiled a huge list here for your perusal. This list is also quite useful for writers of horror. Hope you learn something new!

Enjoy!
